SOME BRIEF INFO AND HISTORY

We're a family based photography business in the Tyne Valley in Northumberland. We started 20 years ago as then there were three of us and we were interested in PR, Weddings and Portraits. By 2005, we had established many firm links, especially in the Local Government sector, having secured a very long term working relationship with, as it was then, Castle Morpeth Borough Council. We also began a pilot archive study - a Photographic Archive Supporting Standard Input Output Nomenclature (PASSION) which is still stored at Tyne and Wear Archives and Museums. Going into 2010, Jonathan started to investigate a photographic fine-art direction that looked at spatial phenomenology and began his People : Space project which, today, has seen him do over 17 exhibitions.

Today, Bradley Photography is largely run by Jonathan and Claire with Jonathan's Mum retiring back in 2015 and his Grandmother is 98 so we think she deserves a break as well! Jonathan and Claire are also dutifully assisted by their faithful hound, the Darkroom Dog that is otherwise known as Stevie, a retired racing Greyhound!
